The ICD Rio 2008 show schedule is currently being completed. You will find below some information from the ICD Sections that already communicated on their show in Rio.

The Russian show theme will be “Russia in My Heart”, and will be presented by Misin Alexander (president of ICD Russia), Missina Elan, Nikitina Allá, Molokin Egor, Kylahmetov Igor, Lazarev Valerij, Panasenko Anastasia (make-up) and Zatilkin Nikolaj (choreography).

“Snow on Your Tongue” will be the theme of the ICD Nordic Region show, which will bring to Rio de Janeiro the professionals Rikke Capaldi (Denmark), Kari Rauhansalo (Finland), Arnar Tomasson (Iceland), Krister Hertzberg
(Sweden) and Ulf Schjerpen (Norway). Linda Wickmann will do the make-up, and Elin Hayholm will be the producer and choreograph.

Japan, that hosted the previous Intercoiffure World Congress in 2004, will perform two shows during the event. At the “Prestige Shows of the World”, the performers will be Eriko Suzuki, Yuko Ohkuma, Hiroyuki Kaga, Koji Furukubo and Junji Yamano. And at the “Gala Show”, Masako Tanaka, Eiko Sakurai, Masa Ohtake and Hiroyuki Ohbayashi will show their work.

Bulgaria also confirmed its attendance with a show presented by Ivan Ganev, Orlin Valianov, Marin Hubenov, Julieta Georgieva, Rositsa Milnova, Jordan Petrov, Jordan Vassileu, Sava Nenov and Todor Todorov.

Chile chose “Arauco” as the title for their show, an ethnic fashion presentation that will be introduced by the professionals Hugo Guerra, Ricardo Riveros, Luisa Zavala, Lucia Labra, Miguel Angel Molina and Mauricio Cid.

Brazil, the Congress host, will also be developing two shows. At the “Prestige Shows of the World” the theme will be the Amazon, and at the “Gala Show” the theme will be “Exotic Show”.

“As time comes by....” will be Italy’s show directed by Massimiliano Ottolini and Francesco Pirozzi. It will feature artists such as Tullio Talia, Pasquale Giallonardo, Roberto Paggi, Luigi Magnifico, Fabrizio Di Carlo, Emiliano Tulimiero, Alessandra Carrer, Alain Frazzitta, Alessandro Consiglio and Carlo Alberto Rossi.

The president of Intercoiffure Mondial, Klaus Peter Ochs, will also present his own performance at the Congress:“Fashion Diamonds”.

The ICD Mondial Team will propose an outstanding 30 minute show: “The Most Beautiful Hair in the World” will stage 9 top-hairstylists from all parts of the world, such as Ann Bray, USA; Markus Herrmann, Germany; Krister Hertzberg, Sweden; Joakim Roos, Netherlands; Pasqualle Giallonardo & Tullio Talia, Italy; Eriko Suzuki, Japan; Bruno Sommer, Switzerland and last but not least, an unexpected guest!

Germany will also feature a show that they entitled “Retro Vintage”, which will introduce Markus Herrmann, Holger Maas, Kay Schneider, Kirstin Ellen Vietze and Sascha Haselhoff!

Last but not least, the Austrian team will come with a show entitled “Handbags”, staging artists such as Horst Wallmeier, Haimo Pühringer, Andreas Mayer, Norbert Grabnegger, Marco Inmann, Rafaela Welner, Bernhard Neumayr and Peter F.Pfister.
