Rio de Janeiro, the most charming and sunny city in Brazil, will host the 20th Intercoiffure World Congress, the foremost event organized by Intercoiffure Mondial, entity that congregates top hairstylists worldwide.

The event will be held from May 18th to 20th, 2008 exclusively focused on hairstylists and salon directors, Intercoiffure members, being masters & juniors. It will bring together hairdressers and entrepreneurs of the beauty care area aiming to exchange professional experiences, promote styles and fashion in addition to discuss topics related to the salons development and management.

Over one thousand professionals coming from more than 40 countries are expected at Intercoiffure World Congress Rio 2008. The largest delegations will come from the United States, Europe and Japan, countries that have a long standing tradition in the sector and attend the Intercoiffure Mondial events assiduously. Brazil and South America will add a Latin touch to the event, with the presence of the leading hairstylists from these countries.

The congress venue will be the InterContinental Rio Hotel, one of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels in Rio de Janeiro, facing the dazzling São Conrado beach and located amongst the main attractions of the city.

The 20th Intercoifure World Congress is an official event of Intercoiffure Mondial, hosted and organized by Intercoiffure Brasil and Hair Brasil/Couromoda Group, company with more than 30 year experience in successful fairs and congresses. J. Francisco Dos Santos, president of Hair Brasil/Couromoda Group was elected, by Intercoiffure Mondial board, to preside the ICD Rio 2008, as a tribute of his contribution in spreading and promoting the ideals of Intercoiffure in Brazil and Latin America.
