One of the most expected moments of the 20th Intercoiffure World Congress
was the Gala Show with presentations staged by professionals from Japan, Italy,
Brazil, and Klaus Peter Ochs, president of Intercoiffure Mondial.
A fantastic and sophisticated Gala Dinner for around 800 hairstylists from
36 countries marked the closure of the 20th Intercoiffure World Congress, in the
city of Rio de Janeiro.
Entrepreneurs Waleska and Francisco Santos, the president couple of the 20th
Intercoiffure World Congress Intercoiffure, were awarded by Intercoiffure Mondial
with the Diamond Star – highest decoration granted by the entity to the
distinguished members who worked in favor of the hair care and beauty care worldwide.
Jacques and Janine Goossens, the couple president of Intercoiffure Brazil,
handed over the Crystal piece symbolizing the next congress of the entity, to
the president of Intercoiffure Italy, Alberto Rossi.
The high point in the 20th Intercoiffure World Congress was the performance
of hairstylists from France, Germany, Russia, Austria, Japan, Bulgaria and Chile.
Brazil has also performed on this first day of hair style and concepts launching
shows.
During the General Assembly of the Intercoiffure Mondial, the Association
honored hairstylists and world personalities of the beauty care sector with the
insignias “Ordre de La Chevalerie”, Personality of the Year and “Créateur
de Mode”.
The 20th Intercoiffure World Congress Intercoiffure had some great surprises
for the participants to the African Evening at the Sugarloaf. The party illustrated
the African input in the Brazilian culture and showed the talent and creativity
of the Juniors of Intercoiffure.
The rich flora and fauna of the Amazon Rainforest, a fascinating dream universe,
were reproduced in a magnificent scenario
that enthralled the invitees to the Congress.
The culture of the local people was conveyed through several folkloric dances
that depicted the most beautiful traditions and legends of the indigenous people.
